Crew Arrive in Cape Town

Randy & Laura, best friends and now (again) Wings' crew, flew into Cape Town from Martha's Vinyard in the US for a short sail across the Atlantic. They will be with us for two months.

Meanwhile, other friends, Carol and Jim from Yacht Nepenthe, are in Simon's Town getting packed up for thier departure from Africa for...EUROPE! what a trip!

Since we rounded this in the night and never saw it, a hike out to the end of the cape to take a look seemed like a good outing. It was.

Next we visited the Stellenbosch and Paarl wine country, tasted some great wines and bought a few bottles. Wings' wine locker is now full.
